RO Membrane Make Surface Water Treatment Easier and Cheaper

2) Brief introduction

(1) Water source and water quality

Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group Xichang Steel and Vanadium     Co., Ltd. Energy Power Center first level desalination system is equipped with 5 sets of reverse osmosis devices, and a single set of reverse osmosis device is designed to produce 150m³/h. The source water of the primary desalination system is fresh water produced.

 

The main water source for the production of new water is      Dongganqu Reservoir water, and the standby water source is the surface water of the main stream of Anning River. The design of water purification for production of new water adopts inclined tube sand sedimentation + grid flocculation reaction + inclined tube sedimentation + filtration purification process. The grit tank uses inclined tube grit tank, the flocculation tank uses grid flocculation tank, the sedimentation tank uses inclined tube sedimentation tank, the filter tank uses D-type filter, the water purification agent uses polyferric sulfate, adding anionic polyacrylamide to the water distribution well when the source water turbidity is ≥3000NTU 

 

(2) Using technology

A single set of reverse osmosis device has 32 pressure vessels with a nominal inner diameter of 8in (203.2mm), and 6 membrane elements with a diameter of 8in (203.2mm) and a length of 40in (1016mm) are placed in each pressure vessel. A 2:1 arrangement is used to obtain a 75% system recovery rate.

 

3) Water inlet and outlet indexes of reverse osmosis device

(1) Water inlet index of reverse osmosis device

Feed water flow of RO device: 200m³/h

Water quality of RO unit: SDI15≤5

Inlet water turbidity of RO device: ≤1.0NTU

inlet water turbidity of reverse osmosis device: ≤1.0NTU

RO device inlet water SiO2: ≤5000mg/L

(2) Water effluent index of reverse osmosis device

Permeate water flow of RO device: 150m³/h

Water TDS of permeate water of RO device: <10ms/cm

7) Installation of reverse osmosis membrane elements

Responsible throughout the entire process, without bringing any installation pressure to the customer, professional technicians are responsible for installation and commissioning, and the customer only cares about the final acceptance.

 

8) According to the customer's requirements, the water production index reached after the installation of the reverse osmosis membrane element
